Golden Rule Translations

One of the places that I go to draw on Golden Rule resources is the site maintained by Paul McKenna of the Interfaith Desk of Scarborough Missions in Toronto Ontario.

Paul is a pioneer in raising awareness of the Golden Rule and is the creator of the Golden Rule Poster, a wonderful concept that highlights thirteen versions of the Golden Rule circling a representation of the globe.

The thirteen versions have also been made available in French, Spanish, Italian and German. You can view them directly by going to the following link:

It was Paul’s work on the Golden Rule that first helped me to identify it as the focus of my own spirituality. As I’ve mentioned in other articles, the concept of the Ethic of Reciprocity is very much a purloined letter situation. It is so obviously at the core of our beliefs that we seldom consciously consider it. Paul is helping to change that and I encourage readers to go to the link above and have a look at the extensive material you will find there.
