Dying Tomorrow

Oct. 16, 2006

Live as if you were to die tomorrow. Learn as if you were to live forever. - Gandhi

Those words are as good a reason as I can think of to avoid complicating our lives with a lot of qualifications.

If we were to die tomorrow, wouldn't it be a waste to have spent such precious time in any pursuit other than to cherish the relationships we have in our lives?

And if we were to live forever, what more precious thing could we learn than that we are all related to one another and to Creation?

So let us live the lesson of relationship in the Golden Rule today, and spend whatever part of forever is ours learning its application.
